SSC SSC public exams will be released on Sunday 23 May at 11.30 am

Results of the SSC public exams will be released on Sunday, 23 May, at 11.30 am, by the minister for secondary education. AP Online and e-Seva centers will also provide the results along with subject-wise marks and relative grades to students at a fee of Rs 10 per student. Even the BSNL will provide the results and marks through the IVRS; students have to dial 1255225 from any part of the state.

To know the results through SMS, students should type SSC, give a space, then type their roll number and send it to 55352.

Students eagerly waiting for their Andhra Pradesh SSC Exam 2010 results need not wait any longer. The Ap SSC 2010 Exam results are scheduled to be released on 23rdMay at 11.30 a.m. The AP SSC 2010 results will be declared by the honorable minister for Secondary Education, D Manikya Vara Prasad.

The SSC 2010 Regular Exam results have a change in pattern of release this time. Based on their performance the students will be given A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1 and D2 grades while the failed candidates will be designated E grade.

The grades have been judged on a scale of 12.5 percent. For instance the top 12.5 percent of the passing students will get A1 grade. next on list will get A2 grade and the sequence follows in a similar fashion for the rest.

E grade indicates that the student has got less than 35% and has therefore failed to clear the SSC 2010 examination.

If the student applies within one month he needs to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- per paper and within 31 to 60 days will cost him Rs. 1000/- for the same. This information was given by Ms Pronoti Suhasini Kavoori, director Andhra pradesh SSC board .

Andhra Pradesh State government has introducing the nine-point ‘relative grading' system. In CBSE mode the grade is decided on the percentage scored by the candidates. In AP new system Subject grades and aggregate grades will be assigned to the candidates depending on their relative performance in the subjects. It means a particular candidate's grade will not only depend on his performance but also on how others perform.

In the CBSE gives grades depending on marks. For example students who get marks between 91 to 100 get A1 grade, 81 to 90 will get A2 grade, 71 to 80 will get B1 grade, 61 to 70 will get B2 grade, 51 to 60 will get C1 grade, 41 to 50 will get C2 grade, 33 to 40 will get D grade, 21 to 32 will get E1 grade and those who score below 20 marks will get E2 grade.

SSC results will be released on May 23 at 11.30 a.m. and the Minister for Secondary Education will release the results. Results will be different this time as students would only get to know the grades rather than the earlier method of first, second and third divisions apart from failed category. From this year, candidates will be graded based on their performance. Candidates will be given A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1 and D2 grades while the failed candidates will get E grade. Grades will be given on a 12.5 per cent scale. For example, the top 12.5 per cent among the successful candidates will get A1 grade. Next 12.5 per cent toppers will get A2 grade. Similar method will be followed for deciding each grade.



Those who score less than 35 marks will get E grade and be treated as Failed. From this year, students will also get photocopies of first language and second language papers on payment.

Each grade carries total of 12.5% students. Compartmental students also awarded with E grade.

A1 - Top 12.5% of passed candidates,

A2 - Less then top 12.5%, and above top 25%.

B1 - Less then top 25%, and above 37.5%.

B2 - Less then top 37.5%, and above 50%.

C1 - Less then top 50%, and above 62.5%.

C2 - Less then top 62.5%, and above 75%.

D1 - Less then top 75%, and above 87.5%.

D2 - Less then top 87.5%, and above 100%.

E - Failed candidates and Compartmental students all treated as E Grade.
